Court papers were served by a process server on the office receptionist for a different corporation than the one which employed the physician named as defendant in the suit, after the statute of limitations had expired. The attorneys for the defendant actually named in the suit promptly filed a response with the court and had the case dismissed on both grounds. The Court of Appeals of Georgia sanctioned dismissal of the suit. Ludi vs. Van Metre, 471 S.E. 2d 913 (Ga. App., 1996).
